At Zaccor Companies the safety and health of our employees comes first. Management is committed to do everything possible to prevent injuries and to maintain a healthy environment.
To this end:
All supervisors are responsible for ensuring that their employees are trained in approved work procedures to obtain optimal output without accidents and injuries and to ensure that employees follow safe work methods and all related regulations;
All personnel are required to support our Injury and Illness Prevention Program and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations;
All personnel are held accountable for implementing this program; and
All relevant laws and regulations are incorporated in our program as minimum standards.
In addition to annual physicals, drug and alcohol screening, Zaccor management and job site personnel are certified 40-Hour HAZWOPER trained (OSHA Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response).
Because we specialize in various aspects of demolition, being committed to safety is not a matter taken lightly at Zaccor. Commitment is defined as accepting charge and keeping trust; a promise or being bound intellectually to a course of action or to persons. Our commitment to safety is reflected in the fact that Zaccors’ project record encompasses over 20 years in an accident-free environment, demonstrating an extreme in exceeding industry safety standards.
Zaccor management evaluates each new project prior to the start of work in order to meet goals, providing safety procedures designed to address unique aspects of a particular job-site (site specific), while insuring safety compliance is met on local, state and federal levels. Based on this preview finding, our field personnel participate in on-site meetings to familiarize employees with both workplace hazards and hazards primarily common to the particular job-site.
